Do you have an animal story that touched your heart? Did a volunteer at Friends of the Shelter make a difference to you, your family, or a special pet? Our mission at Friends of the Shelter is to increase adoptions and improve the well-being of homeless pets at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter and in our community. Friends of the Shelter is a volunteer based nonprofit organization.

Donations can be dropped off either at the Shelter, or at the Oreck Vacuum store on Hanes Mall Blvd.
